The Meridian Collection, my first collaboration with State of Escape, launched in November, 2025. The collaboration began fifteen earleir, when an industry connection played matchmaker between SOE and me. Since then, I have worked closely with Brigitte MacGowan–half of the power duo behind this Sydney-born, globally recognized luxury travel brand.
Our goal was to explore new fabrications for this label best known for its inventive use of neoprene. What followed was an organic, accretive design process rooted in our shared, materials-driven design philosophy. After connecting with a knitting manufacturer our collective wheels started to spin. Through many sketches, mockups, and Zoom design meetings, Meridian's distinct design language began to emerge.
By continually stripping back the unnecessary, we arrived at the refined essence of this beautiful collection. Above are images of my design process and below are the results
